SCoDIHNet has established contact with ICT58 projects which have the objectives to develop networks of DIHs in Africa. Five projects have been funded by the European Commission:
– AEDIB NET (Mauritius, Nigeria)
– HUBiquitous (Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, and Kenya)
– DIGILOGIC (Nigeria, Ghana, Zambia)
– AfriConEU (Ghana, Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda)
– mAkE (Ghana, Cameroon, South Africa)
Common interests have been shared among these projects:
1/ Propose to African DIH to become member of the SCoDIHNet
2/ Develop the Heatmap for the African DIH and map it with the SCoDIHNet Heatmap in order to find the key common domains
3/ Organise a common workshop with ICT58 projects on Smart Connectivity
4/ Study how Replicability initiative could be used by African DIHs (under which conditions)
Monthly meetings will be organised to folow these actions
